Days Out

Days spent outside of the home are so important to our children's understanding of the world and love of learning. Emma and Jo love to take the children on outings and below are some of the places we might visit. All the while we are talking about where we are going and what we can see, smell, hear and touch. The learning never stops and nor does the fun!

Delamere Forest

Delemere Forest is a firm favourite. This wonderful natural space offers a wealth of sensory experiences for all ages. They are also building a new play area and are constantly introducing new trails to follow and fun to have along the way.

Glebe Farm

This local farm has lots to offer and is so popular with many local families. This visit supports so many learning areas of the EYFS though all the children know is the fun and curiosity they get from their visit.

wheelock Farm

Another local farm with lots to see and do.

Queens Park

Who doesn't love wide open spaces and a chance to feed the ducks?

Apple Tree Town

This is a role play dream come true and a special occasion visit.

Childminder Drop Ins

We are so fortunate in Cheshire East to have a council who are very supportive of childminders. The Childminder drop ins are carefully thought out play sessions, where our children can play and interact with other childminders children. There are always lots of interesting resources and information that supports the care we offer.

Holmes Chapel Farm

This is a new find for us and so close to Middlewich. Animal care and understanding our world along with preservation and environment concerns are an important area of the EYFS. Of course their understanding must be age appropriate and above all FUN.

Where is your favourite place?

Do you and your child have a favourite place to visit? We would love to hear about it and possibly visit with all our minded children. Tell us about your favourite days out.
